Don Toliver is about to take over the summer with HARDSTONE PSYCHO.
Sharing his fourth studio album on Friday (June 14), Toliver has incited immense anticipation leading up to what arguably is the “best album” of his career. Preceded by lead singles in “BANDIT,” “Deep In The Water” and “ATTITUDE,” the HARDSTONE president rings in his newfound label with a full-length record that admittedly cements his legacy.
Touting 16 tracks and features from Travis Scott (twice on “Ice Age” and “Inside”), Teezo Touchdown, Kodak Black, Future, Metro Boomin and more, Toliver shared a handful of alternate covers for the album’s vinyl drop, holding a black HARDSTONE PSYCHO flag on the album’s official artwork.
Interestingly, the album dropped on the same day Toliver and Cactus Jack (Travis Scott, Sheck Wes, SoFaygo) headline Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash in Chicago for a 75-minute collaborative set. Toliver also shared four new tracks on its deluxe on Tuesday, which features four new tracks and guest verses from Lil Uzi Vert and Yeat. It was an exclusive digital download on Toliver’s store priced at $5.00. Now, it’s available on all DSPs as of June 25.

The latest of PSYCHO singles, “ATTITUDE” (May 22), not only features production from NYC’s slizziest icon Cash Cobain, but vocals from the legendary Charlie Wilson. Sampling Pharrell and Snoop Dogg’s “Beautiful,” Don and Cash collide for a Sexy Drill bop — a sound that’s defined and dominated the culture as of late — that becomes more infectious when Wilson hits the mic. Made for the club, Toliver brings both personality and attitude to the energetic banger, leading in HARDSTONE PSCYHO on a high note.
On the run in “BANDIT,” Toliver’s first HARDSTONE PSYCHO offering triumphantly samples Tame Impala’s “One More Hour,” pulling listeners in to his new persona as a badass biker chief. On the other hand, “Deep In The Water” is filled with explorative melodies, muffled drum patterns and underwater, auto-tuned croons that showcase the Hardstone MC’s superstar vocal range. “Deep in the water, it’s just you and me,” he sings on the hook, paired with stark, oceanic shots of Toliver riding his flame-decal Harley in the desert, while Kali Uchis waits for his return. Additionally, the music video debuted the longtime couple’s newborn son, to which they welcomed earlier this year. Toliver also shared the music video for “Brother Stone” with Kodak Black earlier this month.
Alongside landmark appearances on Kanye West’s DONDA, Metro Boomin’s HEROES & VILLAINS, JACKBOYS, Yeat’s “King tonka” and more over the years, the Cactus Jack artist has broken through as a generational talent, stemming from projects in Heaven Or Hell, Life Of A Don and Love Sick. “I realized I overcame so much in such little time,” Toliver wrote on X. “And I’m still here to overcome even more… working on the best version of me forever. Album this summer. It’s mine.”
As a new father with a new label and a new album on the way, HARDSTONE PSYCHO celebrates and personifies the evolution of Don Toliver.
