Griselda to kick off ‘Claires Back Tour’ May 10 in Chicago

The Griselda gang is officially hitting the road with Cleveland’s own Doe Boy.

Over the span of a few years, it has been nearly impossible to go anywhere and read anything rap-related without hearing the name “Griselda.”

Sprouting the return of that gritty, gutter style of rap, founding members and family Westside Gunn, Benny the Butcher and Conway the Machine have made a name for themselves to exist in this current climate of rap — and no one can touch them.

Despite the rumors circulating that Griselda was no more, which was later debunked by Conway during an interview with Bootleg Kev, the guys are putting that to rest and hitting the road for their impending “Claires Back Tour” — with their first stop being in Chicago on May 10. Partnering with live event mainstay Goldenvoice, the ten-stop tour will take place in cities such as Boston, New York, Atlanta and Los Angeles. Atlanta-rap star Doe Boy will be joining the guys on the road as well, offering an alternate style of street rap to the setlist.

It’s been safe to say that all three members of Griselda have been making tons of noise not only as a collective but individually as well. Late last year, Westside Gunn dropped his long-awaited Hitler Wears Hermes 8 album, with a B-side deluxe to follow shortly after in August. Conway is fresh off of the release of his God Don’t Make Mistakes album in February as Benny followed suit releasing Tana Talk 4 on March 11 — which has been making a huge uproar online following his collaboration with J. Cole on “Johnny P’s Caddy

With just 10 stops listed for the tour, there is a possibility more stops could be added later on, or another tour with a different title could come as well. Nonetheless, the Griselda guys are sure to put on amazing shows and are guaranteed to have the crowd’s full attention.
