Maryland native IDK has been generous to his fanbase over the last year, unleashing some of his best music to date while he continues his ascent to stardom.
After dropping two projects and joining Pusha T on his It’s Almost Dry tour, the established yet up-and-coming lyricist wastes no time with an ode to designer clothing, titled “Monsieur Dior.”

Reminiscing over a nostalgic instrumental, IDK puts everything “in the name of Dior” as he prays his problems away. Over low-tempo piano and a soulful vocal loop, he alternates between melodic crooning and a fast-paced, sing-song delivery for the verses. Black-and-white visuals showcase the differences between IDK’s past and present, exemplifying his come-up and rise from humble beginnings.
Since the beginning of the year, IDK has released Simple. — a collaborative album with KAYTRANADA — as well as a two-pack titled W13 with standout singles “Free YSL” and “Drive.” OGM recently got a chance to catch up with IDK while he toured with Pusha, chatting about his last few projects and plans for the future.
Though there is yet to be any announcement of a full-length project for “Monsieur Dior” to land on, IDK has proven that he has yet to slow down. Regardless of what comes next, he is sure to continue his impressive journey to the top.
