Lil Baby is turning up the heat right before his “summer takeover” fully settles in.

Surprising fans Thursday night (April 8) with two new tracks and accompanying visuals, “In A Minute” and “Right On” sees the 4PF head honcho dig deeper into his bag than ever before.

Previously teasing the Drake-sampled “Pound Cake” in a video snippet last week, “In A Minute” showcases Baby’s ability to effortlessly glide over the track’s ethereally-nostalgic production — further proving that he is at the top of his game looking to conquer more once his highly-anticipated LP drops this summer.

“Right On” is a quintessential Baby vibe, touting hard-hitting 808s, booming percussion and auto-tuned-laced bars as Baby is seen shouting out the window of a glimmering Rolls Royce — attesting his status as one of the game’s untouchable superstar players.

“Fucc It I Just Dropped 2 Videos !!! ‘Right On’ Out now… #mysummerstartsnow,” Baby wrote on social media, unveiling the two high-energy cuts with no prior notice. It’s unclear if both tracks will end on Baby’s upcoming album, but follows his recent appearances with Nicki Minaj on “Do We Have A. Problem?” and “Bussin.” The last fans saw of Baby was his 2021 collaborative effort with Lil Durk on The Voice Of The Heroes.

This two-pack is just a taste of what’s to come from the My Turn emcee — looking to follow up his prolific 2020 album in a few months by “owning the summer.” Tweeting that his next album is “almost done” near the tail end of February, Baby has his sights sets on warming up alongside summer’s annual heat wave.

Make no mistake, Baby is out for blood — as these two tracks reassert the revered Atlanta wordsmith’s knack for creating scintillating street anthems with little to no effort.
