Since the early era of SoundCloud rap, Florida rapper Robb Bank$ has established himself in the game with as longtime veteran with cult following.
Following the dissolution of the XXXTentacion-led hip-hop group Members Only, Robb flooded 2020 with five projects before taking a hiatus from albums in 2021. Dropping a few sporadic singles over the past year, Robb returned to form in early 2022 with the Lil Uzi Vert-assisted “SHOOTOUT” and a coveted Trippie Redd collaboration on “LIFTED.”
Now, following up on his recent momentum, the razor-sharp emcee has released first full-length project in two years, FALCONIA,
Calling upon Trippie Redd, XXXTENTACION, Ski Mask the Slump God, Doe Boy and more, Robb reminds fans why he was part of one of the biggest Floridian movements in music. He brings a stark range of styles from the mellow “DIAMOND W/ THE CUT” to the rage-fueled “HBK,” with a cohesive delivery to hold the project together.
“MAY I” also marks the first XXXTENTACION posthumous feature of 2022, bringing Robb and Ski together for a nostalgic Members Only cut. With rumors of a Juice WRLD collaboration and his upcoming documentary slated for release May 26, the fallen legend is still making waves despite it being four years since his passing.
Robb has adequately honored X’s legacy with his onslaught of releases, now topping it off with Falconia — his undeniable magnum opus. Hopefully fans continue seeing Robb make more frequent appearances now that fans are reinvigorated by his latest drop. But for now, he’s swooping in with Falconia.
