Roddy Ricch recruits an all-star street lineup ‘Ghetto Superstar’ to preview upcoming project

Compton native Roddy Ricch continues to work for the title of “Ghetto Superstar” with the first single for the third installment in his Feed Tha Streets series.

Recruiting all-star street spitters Doe Boy and G Herbo for his latest track, the trio come through for the interstate collaboration as Southside and Mustard handle the hectic production.

Booming drums and a tense piano loop give Roddy, Doe and Herbo the perfect instrumental to spit aggressive flows. All three rappers come from similar backgrounds despite being from different areas, adding their own perspectives to each fire-powered verse.

Roddy’s only other release this year was an EP titled The Big 3, gifting fans a quick three-pack ahead of his long-awaited mixtape Feed Tha Streets III. His 2021 project LIVE LIFE FAST brought features from Future, Jamie Foxx, Ty Dolla $ign, 21 Savage and many more, leading fans to wonder who else may appear on this next project.

Following the release of his single, the California rapper took to Instagram to tease the release of Feed Tha Streets III, claiming that there was a dispute between him and his label on whether the project is a mixtape or album, but reassuring that it will be out when he’s off tour.

As Herbo prepares for his upcoming album Survivor’s Remorse and Doe Boy rides the success of Catch Me If You Can, all three artists are set on releases for 2022, with Roddy feeding the streets .
