Louisiana rapper Autumn! has been coasting off the success of his album Antagonist!, however, he isn’t done yet this year.
After taking to Instagram earlier this week to reveal that he “fell out of love with music” with Antagonist, Victor Victor’s new wave enigma has rekindled that passion with his upcoming project Golden Child, Chapter 2. As a follow-up to 2021’s Golden Child, Chapter 1, Autumn! refuses to let fans wait long as he stays with the trends — dropping a four-track teaser tape of what’s to come.
##B4GC2 ##B4GC2 features futuristic instrumentals from some of our favorite underground producers including Autumn! himself (aka Twinuzis) and Maajins. Each track showcases the underground star’s unique style with uptempo, experimental pluggnb bangers and relaxing love songs alike.
The first installation of Autumn!’s Golden Child series was eight tracks of laidback pluggnb, proving his mastery of the up-and-coming sub-genre. Since that project, he has shown incredible growth on tracks like “One Way!” and “Jumpin!”, building hype for Chapter 1’s inevitable sequel.
Listeners can expect Autumn! to continue pushing the forefront of his sub-genre with a steady stream of consistently high-quality albums. His journey is only just beginning as he gains momentum on his way to Golden Child, Chapter 2.
