Iayze drops ‘The Leek 4’ ahead of new album ‘Virtuous’

It’s been nothing but progress for new wave phenom Iayze, as he seems to be on top of the world as of late.

After signing to a major label, snagging co-signs from PnB Rock and Trippie Redd all while rapidly ascending to the top of the underground, Iayze is truly on a run for the ages in 2022.

Due to his distinctive vocals and personal, emotion-driven lyricism, Iayze has artists and fans wholeheartedly gravitating towards his unique sound. He was recently featured on PnB Rock’s recent SoundCloud EP titled SoundCloud Daze, teased an upcoming collab with Trippie Redd this past week and dropped his latest single “YSL2” all within a week span.

The Fort Worth, Texas up-and-comer — who began sharing music to SoundCloud over a year ago — has become a rising star in the new wave in such a short amount of time. Just this month alone, Iayze saw two of his tracks “Oh Lord” and “C’mere” land on SoundCloud’s Top 10 trending chart.

Given the ongoing success of both songs, Iayze delivered accompanying visuals to go paired with the popular tracks with underground extraordinaire DotCom Nirvan.

Due to the increase in demand and rising popularity of his SoundCloud exclusives, Iayze officially brought his SoundCloud EP The Leek 4 to streaming services Wednesday (Feb. 2).

The most popular amongst the bunch is “C’mere” which has amassed a monster 1.7 million plays on SoundCloud since it released in December. While “Oh Lord” has accumulated well over half a million plays in under a month of its release. “C’mere” is the hit lifting Iayze to new heights in 2022.

Amid The Leek 4, Iayze has more in store this year, as he’s set to drop his next album Virtuous sometime this month.

Simply put, Iayze shows no signs of slowing down whatsoever. It seems as if everywhere you look, something new is circulating his name — whether that be a new collaboration, project, single, video, etc. He strives to work harder than anyone and dedicate his efforts to caring for his toddler daughter — who is his biggest motivator.

As he proceeds to master his craft and continuously deliver quality music to fans, expect Virtuous to boast some of his best tracks to date.
