Ken Car$on takes listeners on a trip in ‘Run + Ran’ visuals

As Playboi Carti’s Opium label continues to uplift its signees with quality releases and rollouts, Ken Car$on has set himself apart as an artist with a refined vision for his soundscape.

Run + Ran” is the latest single to receive intoxicating visuals off Ken’s latest album Project X, continuing the trippy adventure fans started on the video for “Rock N Roll.”

“And if it’s a problem, my boy shaking shit just like a tambourine

I came from the bottom, I jumped to the top, ain’t use no trampoline

He think he the shit but we know he ain’t it, baby, don’t gasoline him

I was riding by myself, I signed to Opium, had to grow out my tree limbs”

Splitting the music video in two parts, the “Run” portion depicts Ken at a wild house party as he blows backwoods in the middle of the action. As the perky instrumental darkens for the “Ran” half, the visuals take a psychedelic turn with disorienting CGI and jarring visions of monsters and vampires.

Ken has been on a tear in 2022, recently dropping the SoundCloud-exclusive EP Lost Files 3 in anticipation of his upcoming sophomore album X-Man. Between his appearance on Yeat’s 2 Alivë and his stellar single “Teen Bean,” Car$on’s streaming numbers are doing fantastic, approaching a million monthly listeners on Spotify alone.

Fans can expect to hear more from him soon as he continues to ramp up anticipation for his next release. If these videos are any indication of what’s to come, X-Man is sure to introduce Ken Car$on’s fans to a whole new level of quality.
