Sean Leon releases highly-anticipated Ye collab ‘BURN EVERYTHING’

Despite an extremely polarizing public image, Ye (FKA Kanye West) has maintained his reputation for continuously crafting quality music over the years, while boosting any of the talented musicians he works with along the way.

Canadian singer and longtime Ye collaborator Sean Leon is no newcomer to the music industry. With songwriting credits for A-listers like Pharrell, Justin Bieber, Brandy and more, Leon has consistently assisted some of our generation’s biggest stars while building up his own career.

Now, Ye and Sean join forces for the third time on a vengeful track titled “BURN EVERYTHING,” which sees Yeezy put the spotlight on his younger peer as he leads in with passionate vocals. Sean matches Ye’s energy with an autotune-laced verse, inserting a few high-pitched bridges throughout the track.

While including a sound bite from Dave Chappelle’s recent SNL monologue, the music video for the track relies solely on digital modeling as Sean shows us imagery reminiscent of Ye’s Donda 2 promotion, which he had his hand in featuring on the song “Sci Fi.” Leon himself is depicted as a dark angel in the visuals as the world around him goes up in flames, adding to the edginess of the track.

Earlier this year, Sean released the timely titled project HERD IMMUNITY, running seven songs with no assistance for a variety of sounds and styles. This marks his seventh full-length release, continuing his extensive discography and garnering some well-deserved hype with his latest drop.

Though Ye’s latest album Donda 2 is currently only available on the Stem Player, the hip-hop veteran has been consistent with appearances on projects this year by DJ Khaled, Future, Pusha-T and more.

But, when bumping “BURN EVERYTHING,” don’t let Ye’s superstar appearance outshine Sean Leon’s talent, as the behind-the-scenes magician credited on some of your favorite tracks is sure to keep up the momentum of this collaboration soon.
