SoFaygo has released the visual to “Count Me Out” (July 12) off his June EP ‘B4PINK’
SoFaygo’s long-awaited album Pink Heartz has been on the minds of fans since the top of 2021. After nearly two years without releasing a full-length project — evidently confirming his forthcoming debut in April — the Cactus Jack star has now shared a taste of his formal introduction.
Stemming from 2020 projects in Angelic 7 and After Me, the 20-year-old melodic sensation has not only left the underground hanging on to his every word, but continues to ascend as one of the new wave’s marquee talents — even without dropping new music. However, Faygo’s sonic drought is over, dropping his new EP B4PINK ahead of his highly-anticipated debut record.

Released on DSPs at 2 p.m. EST on Tuesday (June 14), the 5-track project (produced by Bakkwoods, Nick Mira, DT and more) not only leads in his mythical Pink Heartz LP — which is reportedly slated for release sometime this year — but further proves Faygo’s refined talent as one of the new wave’s most impressive tastemakers. On highlights like “Long Way,” “Count Me Out” and “Fall,” the 2022 XXL Freshman is as captivating as ever — showing fans how much he’s been missed from the current landscape of hip-hop.
With rumored guest appearances from Travis Scott, Gunna, Lil Uzi Vert, Ken Car$on, Don Toliver, TyFontaine and others, Pink Heartz is poised to be music for “the youth,” he revealed in a March interview with Montreality — reasserting Faygo’s superstar status and his impact on SoundCloud’s next generation just a few mixtapes in.
“We’ve been working on that sh*t for a long time, and I’m not gonna lie, that sh*t is a masterpiece. When you listen to that sh*t, you’re not gonna want to stop.”

Apart from captivating features on Trippie Redd’s “MP5,” Don Toliver’s “Smoke” and Rot Ken’s “Beautfiul,” Faygo initially kicked off the Pink Heartz rollout with the release of “Let’s Lose Our Minds” last August — putting his range on full display with emotively raw, rage-inspired vocals.
As B4PINK leads in a new era for the rising star, it’s clear that SoFaygo’s debut is looming closer than ever before.
