There are some artists who can’t help but be constant presence in the underground scene, as Chattanooga native Thouxanbanfauni remains a pioneer for the revitalized SoundCloud era.
His latest offering enlists the help of new wave star Matt Ox for an aggressive collaboration titled “Tragic.” Illuminating bells and synths intertwine with the track’s captivating 808 melody, as the duo spit with gritty autotune on their vocals. Designer clothes are not only a commonality on “Tragic,” but is a main focus for both Fauni and Ox — flexing some of the expensive brands they bear in their bars.

Simply put, both Xan and Matt Ox have been on fire this year. Claiming 2022 with his latest album, YEAR OF THE OX, the 18-year-old phenom raked in features from Lancey Foux, KEY! and more — bolstering his discography with a diverse range of 30 new bangers on the LP.
Fauni is fresh off the release of his album FOREVER FIGUEROA 2 as well as a couple of fantastic features with artists including Johan Lenox and UnoTheActivist. With a constant stream of singles flooding in, he is sure to bless us with another full-length project in no time.
