Just before summer summers down, Tyga made his return for any last-minute pool parties, dropping off a brand-new vibe with a couple of unexpected friends.
“Sunshine” features contributions from Cali crooner Jhené Aiko and the late New York icon Pop Smoke, bringing the trio together with complementary verses on a groovy instrumental.
Jhené leads in with a laid-back hook, setting the tone for charismatic verses from Tyga and Pop Smoke as they envision their ideal relationship. Nostalgic visuals bring it back to high school as Tyga and Jhené reminisce before a Pop Smoke lookalike fills in for the fallen rapper.

Pop’s estate has been locked his last few verses in the vault, with this Tyga collaboration bringing us his first guest spot since his appearance on “Remember,” a cut off of Bathing Ape designer Nigo’s I Know Nigo.
Similarly, Jhené has been sparingly dropped music so far this year, appearing on tracks with AUGUST 08 and Megan Thee Stallion. She is currently expecting a child, though, as she flaunts her baby bump in the new video.
Tyga is coming off a hot streak of singles, bringing forth “Ay Caramba,” “Sheikh Talk,” “Freaky Deaky” with Doja Cat amid “Sunshine’s” release. His latest appearance was with YG featuring BIA and 21 Savage titled “Run,” proving that his star power hasn’t slowed down at all.
