Underground veteran UnoTheActivist has managed to stay at the forefront of hip-hop with every release, continually adapting to the newest sounds with his signature autotune-dripped delivery.
Fans had been waiting for the follow-up to Uno’s Limbus 2.5, which dropped earlier this year in anticipation of the third installment in the series. Now, he’s back in his bag with the long-awaited project Limbus 3 (Sept. 30) — 22 solo tracks of Uno over some of the best rage production this year.
Uno opts out of any features for this album, handling a variety of futuristic instrumentals himself. His choice of melodies and deliveries is impeccable as he uses his autotune-infused vocals in unpredictable ways.
Last year, Uno flooded his discography with five full-length releases, including all three Unoverse tapes as well as his collaborative album with Madeintyo, Yokohama.
With Limbus 3 finally here, Uno made an appearance on our YouTube for the premiere of his latest single “Product Of A Playa,” accompanied by some video game-themed visuals. In a trailer for the upcoming album, Uno previewed another track that continues his use of the “rage” style.
Uno’s resilience in the game has been the framework for a slew of our favorite members of the new wave — leading the way for up-and-coming artists like MDMA and KA$HDAMI to work with an artist who has been in the game for almost a decade.
Limbus 3 continues his lengthy legacy as fans look forward to finishing out yet another series in UnoTheActivist’s tireless discography — a testament to his consistency over the last six years.
