Atlanta legend Young Thug appears to be gearing up for another solo release according to a cryptic Instagram post he shared Tuesday (April 19.)
Posting a cover that’s eerily reminiscent of the album artwork from his previous Slime Season tapes, Thug appears to join the onslaught of high-quality releases we have seen in the last few months from some of our favorite artists.

“These past few weeks gave me so much to talk about,” he captioned, as it is unclear what the PUNK rapper is referencing. However, it is possible he is speaking on the unfortunate passing of LaKevia Jackson, the mother of Thug’s 14-year-old son, who was the victim of a violent outburst at an Atlanta bowling alley.
Being one of the most consistent artists of his caliber, Thugger joins the docket of releases slated for spring-summer 2022 with very few details on the project at this time. Fresh off collaborations with Gunna, Yeat and more, YSL’s head honcho is clearly getting ready to retake the spotlight despite some heavy competition in the next few weeks from Pusha T, Kendrick Lamar, Future, Jack Harlow and more.
