Jack is back.
17 months since the release of his debut studio album, Thats What They All Say — which catapulted him to the pinnacle of hip-hop — the hometown Louisville legend dropped his long-awaited sophomore album Come Home The Kids Miss You.
In the album’s opening weekend, Harlow was seen filming a new visual for his track “Churchill Downs” with Drake. Fittingly, the duo, which seemed to mesh instantly, hit up the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs in Jack’s hometown of Louisville on Saturday (May 7) to film the music video, along with simply just enjoying the race and the festivities that came with it.

Revealing the tracklist for his highly-anticipated LP Tuesday (May 3), the album’s 16 tracks contains a slew of high-caliber features from some of the game’s cornerstone voices. Drake, Lil Wayne, Pharrell and pop icon Justin Timberlake are all set to appear on Harlow’s forthcoming project, which is slated for release this Friday (May 6).
Since announcing the project via Rolling Stone in April, Jack’s second promotional single “First Class” recently went No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This being his first solo single to achieve this honor certifies his position at the top of the mountain among the best of hip-hop’s current mainstream artists — and makes his upcoming album that much more of an important step in his career.
Being the chart-topper he is now, it will likely turn out that CHTKMY will be in for a stellar debut. Cuurently, the album is projected to reach around 160,000-180,000 first-week units, surely enough to earn him his first No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
On Sunday (May 1), Harlow posted a snippet of one of the songs on the upcoming album, just as he did with “First Class,” which sees him name-drop A-list celebrities like Dua Lipa, who he appears to be crushing on, and basketball star Luka Doncic.
Then on Monday (May 2), Jack dropped a teaser for the project which features beloved actress Danielle Fishel, who most notably portrayed Topanga from hit 1990s show Boy Meets World. The clip also includes the instrumental for his coveted collaboration with Drake titled “Churchill Downs,” which leaked in mid-April.

Jack Harlow announces new album ‘Come Home The Kids Miss You’
Jack Harlow has been on top of his game since he dropped his debut album What They All Say in 2020.
Keeping momentum alive into 2022, his latest single “Nail Tech” (Feb. 18) — the first track off his upcoming album — included the effortless, brass-instrument infused atmosphere that Jack fans love to hear from him. Jack would even pick up new supporters from the track, as Kanye West‘s praise of “Nail Tech” landed Harlow on his Donda 2 cut “Louis Bags” as well as his recent vacation with Drake in Turks.
With his next single already on the way, Jack shared the album’s cover art Wednesday (April 6) ahead of the highly-anticipated, Fergie-sampled “First Class.” With the help of an exclusive interview with Rolling Stone on March 16, Jack Harlow officially announced that his sophomore studio album, titled Come Home The Kids Miss You, is set to release on May 6.

Jack initially prefaced his announcement on March 15 with a video montage that recapped the work he has put in up to this point in the album-making process. While there is no official track list yet for CHTKMY, Jack hinted that “Nail Tech” is not only a preview of what is in store, but could possibly be his least favorite song on the album, which speaks to the true potential of the project.
“It’s probably my least favorite song on the album,” Harlow told Rolling Stone.
