Much like many of his peers in the new wave rap scene, KA$HDAMI‘s fondness for releasing songs outside of streaming platforms has carried over to 2022. Among the leading icons of this teenage tidal wave in hip-hop, DAMI’s SoundCould loyalty cannot be understated, and is evident on his latest release.
On Feb. 15, he dropped brand new SoundCloud exclusive single “uvsme,” which feels like an indirect jab at his adversaries that feel like testing him.
On the track, DAMI asserts that no matter what, if you challenge him, he will be the victor. As he unleashed an increased aggression on his November album Hypernova, he keeps the same energy on this new cut.

“uvsme” is produced by ZaySkillz, who has most notably worked with Autumn!, Kankan and SSGKobe for his latest single “Don’t Miss,” as well as Internet Money staples and Juice WRLD/Lil Tecca/The Kid LAROI/TyFontaine collaborators Cxdy and ThankYouWill.
KA$HDAMI flips traditional song structure on its head with “uvsme,” crafting a long-winded, intricate hook that takes up much of the song’s runtime, and contrasts it with a minimalistic, brief singular verse.
As the second non-DSP release of the young year, “uvsme” proves that DAMI has not missed a step between projects.
