2022 is proving to be the year where everyone is bringing their A-game, as every artist under the sun is dropping fresh-pressed projects and singles for their beloved fans.

Miami legend Rick Ross refuses to be left behind, embarking on a transitional phase of his career that doesn’t just include new music. Off the back of his 11th studio album, Richer Than I’ve Ever Been, in late 2021 — and coinciding deluxe earlier this year — Ross’ viral clips of him working with animals on his ranch seemingly catch fire at every corner of social media. However, in HotNewHipHop’s latest digital cover story, Ross speaks on hearing “the money calling” in many facets of his life.

Along with continuing his grind alongside Freddie Gibbs, Dr. Dre, Anderson .Paak, EST GEE and more, his last project marked the end of his partnership deal with Epic Records, signaling the beginning of a new era for the MMG mastermind.

Per HNHH, Ross revealed that he has his pick of major labels to sign with, name-dropping a couple of the industry’s most reputable conglomerates. “I got huge offers on the table right now. Huge huge offers,” he explained. “Conversation with Def Jam. Everybody wants to be in business with Ricky Rozay.”

Ross also went on to reveal he will be dropping two projects this summer, with the first of the two getting an official announcement in the near future, he says in the interview. Be on the lookout for new material from Ricky Rozay as he continues to make the mogul moves he has become well-known for.
