SoFaygo shares long-awaited debut album ‘Pink Heartz’

Since skyrocketing into the spotlight — courtesy of several viral tracks, a Lyrical Lemonade video, landing a deal with Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack Records and earning a spot on XXL’s 2022 Freshman Class — the mystique of SoFaygo’s Pink Heartz has been synonymous to his come-up.

For what’s seemed like an eternity of built-up anticipation, Pink Heartz is finally here. Dropping his highly-anticipated debut album on Nov. 11, SoFaygo initially teased the record with four high-powered singles — all of which released on Oct. 17.

His debut, which includes prior cuts in “Another One,” “Blitz,” “Fasho” (performed on Jimmy Kimmel) and “Hell Yeah” featuring Ken Carson, was just a taste of the new era Faygo has ignited. Touting 16 tracks with features from Lil Uzi Vert, Don Toliver, Gunna and DJ Khaled, the wait was well worth it, as Faygo fans can breathe a sigh of relief with PH’s release.

While the album has been teased for the better part of two years, Faygo’s put out a plethora of music in his full-length absence. Stemming from 2020 mixtapes in Angelic 7 (produced entirely by Lil Tecca) and After Me, he followed up his breakout year by hopping on features with Trippie Redd, Lil Yachty and Don Toliver in 2021.

In June, the 21-year-old Atlanta native released a 5-song teaser EP titled B4PINK, sharing a secret SoundCloud tape BABYJACK shortly afterwhich further garnered hype for his highly-anticipated debut.

The Cactus Jack star seems to know the brevity of this moment. Not wasting any more time, Faygo resoundingly silenced any doubt of his superstar caliber on Pink Heartz.
