Based1, Envy Ojay join forces on SoundCloud tape ‘No Handouts,’ new single ‘Speed Off’

It’s undeniable that there is an abundance of talented producers in the music industry, one producer who is in particularly high demand: Based1.

Although early in his career, the 21-year-old producer has put together an extraordinarily impressive resume for himself. He’s worked with many top-tier artists like Juice WRLD, Lil Skies, Iann Dior, Trippie Redd, Fetty Wap, TokenVlone, and even earned himself a Grammy for his contribution on Bad Bunny’s album YHLQMDLG.

One of Based’s passions is finding blossoming artists to work with, stemming from his 2020 album Rare!. New Jersey artist Envy Ojay seemed to fit the bill — creating his own unique sound and generating plenty of buzz with hints of a possible collab with rising star Yeat.

On their first collaborative SoundCloud tape, No Handouts, Based1 and Envy Ojay’s chemistry is off the charts, blending their distinct styles and building off one another’s energy. The tape consists of six tracks and sits at just over 11 minutes long, showcasing Based1’s elite production abilities and Envy Ojay’s fresh new sound that meshes for a perfect combination.

Many of the tracks feature rage-styled production, with heavy hitting 808s and earsplitting bass. The type of songs perfect for having your speakers blared — whether that be in a car, at a party, or in a studio session.

Envy Ojay has been on an absolute roll this year and to solidify his dedication and seriousness to his music career, Envy delivered a new track and an accompanying new visual to go paired with his SoundCloud track “Speed Off.”

The music video for “Speed Off” matches the energy of the song near flawlessly. In the video, we find plenty of loud animations and quick transitions to bring some exciting personality to the track. “Speed Off” also displays Envy’s outgoing personality, as he’s seen dancing, kicking it in the studio and head bobbing with his hair flying recklessly.

While Based1 boasts a Hall Of Fame tier resume, the young producer is just getting started, as he continues to write his own story and bolster his already legendary level career. On the other hand, Envy Ojay continues to rapidly grow his fanbase and develop his distinctive, one-of-a-kind sound that gives fans the utmost exciting musical experience.

Be ready for more collaborations from the two musical prodigies as the duo is sure to have more stellar tracks in the vault.
