In 2022 alone, he’s shared multiple SoundCloud exclusives including a tape titled U4 0.5 as well as two official singles — “Don’t Miss” and an “ESCAPE YOUR LOVE” remix with Trippie Redd.
In his interview with XXL, SSGKobe revealed that his come-up was due to a few factors — raw talent, consistency and a solid group of peers who are just as passionate about his music as he is. Ko also had a few things to say about the imminent release of U4EYA, speaking on the album’s themes and storyline. He told XXL, “Right now, purple is the color for U4EYA, so the video for ‘Escape Your Love’ is a continuation of ‘Don’t Miss,’ where it has the same kind of magic. We’re just building a story to get the people invested.”
It seems like Kobe and his fans are both intimately aware that he is about to see all the success he deserves as he takes his time with his industry debut. There’s no doubt that U4EYA will be a wholeheartedly euphoric experience from the rising superstar — propelling him into the upper echelon of rap’s blitzing newcomers.
