Murda Beatz recruits international lineup for new single ‘No Más’

After having a quiet start to 2022, Canadian producer Murda Beatz has dropped a potential song of the summer winner with help from Quavo, Pharrell, J. Balvin and Anitta.

No Más” is the Canadian producer’s second solo track of the year and it follows January’s “One Shot” with Wale and Blxst. His new banger not only features some of the best US acts in Quavo and Pharrell (on production), but boasts Murda’s knack for bringing together collaborations you wouldn’t expect.

The extremely upbeat, summery vibe is complemented by amazing production from both Murda and Pharrell. Quavo backs up the high energy with a fun verse, as J. Balvin comes through by switching the language and giving the song a great Reggaeton feel. Anitta gives the best of both worlds — tearing off a bilingual verse and a barrage of braggadocious bars. Overall, the mix of the two languages is flawless and makes the track a perfect summer anthem whenever you’re vacationing.

Woah-oh-oh (No sleep)

Ain’t no sleepin’, we stay wo-o-oke (Yeah, yeah)

And we got it poppin’ like woah-oh-oh

Bad bitch with a body like woah-oh-oh (She bad, she bad, yeah)

No Más‘ – Murda Beatz, Quavo, J. Balvin, Anitta and Pharrell

Historically assisting Drake, Nicki Minaj, Travis Scott and more for some of their biggest hits to date, Murda Beatz’s solo output has been more scarce in 2022. However, he’s had a hand in a few of this year’s biggest tracks — including a collaboration with Chlöe for Have Mercy” and Unc and Phew’s (Quavo and Takeoff) “Hotel Lobby.”

Speaking of Unc and Phew, Quavo has been on quite the feature run this year. He was a major part of Fivio Foreign’s debut album B.I.B.L.E — touting two features on Magic City” and Through the Fire.” Not only that, he also dropped the single “Shooters Inside My Crib” in early January, which was met with widespread praise from fans. While we wait for his next solo effort — and perhaps a new Migos project — Quavo is keeping fans stocked with new verses on the weekly.

Pharrell continues to keep himself in the greatest-producer conversation after another year of dominance. His latest track “Cash in Cash Out” with 21 Savage and Tyler, The Creator quickly became one of 2022’s most star-studded cuts. Additionally, his curation on Nigo’s compilation album I Know NIGO was also heavily assisted by Pharrell — not to mention his AOTY type assistance on Pusha T’s It’s Almost Dry, producing half of the album alongside Kanye West.

With this much star power on one track, it’s evident that Murda Beatz is here to conquer the summer yet again.
